Mahmoud Ahmadinejad: â€œI think that guiding by friendly neighborhood relations between Azerbaijan and Iran and bilateral commitments will prevent abusive acts of the enemiesâ€

Baku â€“ APA. President of Iran Mahmoud Ahmadinejad sent a congratulatory letter to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on the National Holiday of Azerbaijan â€“ Day of Republic. APA reports that the letter recalled the sincere meetings between the two presidents and efficient results of these meetings: â€œI underlined the fraternal relations between the two nations, as well as my frank relations with Your Excellency and think that development of relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Azerbaijan day by day for the sake of interest of the two nations, as well as guiding by friendly neighborhood relations between Azerbaijan and Iran and bilateral commitments will prevent abusive acts of the enemies. I hope that through the efforts of Iranian and Azerbaijani important persons, we will witness strengthening of current cooperation between our countries in bilateral and international level, as well as establishment of sustainable peace and security in the world and elimination of oppression and discrimination. I wish You strong health and successes, welfare and happiness to the fraternal and friendly people of the Republic of Azerbaijan from Great Allah.â€
