Spokesperson for Georgian President: â€œEverybody can visit Udabno monastery in temple complex in the territory Azerbaijanâ€

Tbilisi. Nizami Mammadzadeh â€“ APA. â€œEverybody can visit David Gareji templeâ€, said spokesperson for the Georgian President Manana Manjgaladze, APAâ€™s Georgian bureau reports. She said that this issue was discussed at Chicago meeting of Georgian and Azerbaijani presidents: â€œThe meeting focused on bilateral relations and most of all existing problem around David Gareji temple complex. Everybody can visit Udabno monastery that is included in temple complex in Azerbaijan till the complete solution of the problem on David Gareji temple. Leaders of border services of both countries met on May 20 by the presidentâ€™s order after achievement of agreement. It was decided that all clerks, tourists and guests can visit the problematic part of David Gareji till the complete solution of the problemâ€.

According to Manjgaladze, this agreement came into force from May 21 and many persons used this chance: â€œWe hope that all issues on demarcation of borders will be solved together with our Azerbaijani friends in calm and friendly conditionsâ€.
