APA reports that Azerbaijani President and British Prime Minister expressed satisfaction with the development of bilateral relations between the two countries and expressed confidence for strengthening of relations and cooperation.
Noting the fruitful results in energy cooperation between Azerbaijan and the United Kingdom, the sides stressed joint efforts of Azerbaijani and British oil companies, in particular BP, to develop the South Energy Corridor.
President Aliyev and Prime Minister Cameron also discussed the situation in Afghanistan and attached great importance to further cooperation on establishing peace and safety in this country.
They exchanged views on some regional issues as well.
