APA reports that though the police prevented the march of PC members towards the building of Baku City Executive Power, the action participants chanted “Freedomâ€, “Free elections!†“Ensure the freedom of assembly†and other slogans, demanded the release of imprisoned PC members.
Several people of the action participants were detained.
The police didn’t let the protesters read the rally’s resolution.
The Public Chamber decided to hold protest action outside the Baku City Executive Power on May 21 to protest its denial to create conditions for the rally on May 19 in the place demanded by the chamber.
