President Ilham Aliyev expressed satisfaction with the development of relations between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan and underlined the friendly character of the relations. The Head of State underlined the importance of good relations between the two countries’ presidents in development of bilateral ties.
President expressed hope that the new ambassador would contribute to strengthening relations between the two countries at a new stage when economic projects can be realized. Ambassador Fayziyev appreciated the current level of relations between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan. The diplomat noted presidents of the two countries had sincere relations.
