Azerbaijani President receives Iraqi Parliamentâ€™s Foreign Relations Committee chairman

Baku â€“ APA. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received the delegation led by Iraqi Parliamentâ€™s Foreign Relations Committee chairman Humam Hamoudi. APA reports that the Head of State expressed satisfaction with the development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Iraq. Reminding about the Iraqi foreign ministerâ€™s recent visit to Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev said both countries had strong will to develop cooperation in all spheres.

Underlining the importance of the inter-parliamentary relations in the development of bilateral relations, the Head of State expressed confidence that the Iraqi parliamentariansâ€™ visit to Azerbaijan will contribute to the extension of cooperation between the countries.

Chairman of Iraqi Parliamentâ€™s Foreign Relations Committee Humam Hamoudi expressed satisfaction with his visit to Azerbaijan with a large delegation representing all provinces of Iraq. He said Iraq has already formed a stable society. Iraq is interested in the extension of cooperation with the neighbor countries, including Azerbaijan in various spheres, including economy, trade and investment, said Hamoudi.
