The first meeting of the Technical Committee of the OPEC+ Charter of Cooperation (CoC) is being held in Baku, APA-Economics reports.
A high-level delegation led by OPEC Secretary General Haitham Al Ghais is participating in the meeting. The Azerbaijani side is represented by Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov.
Representatives of OPEC member states and countries participating in the Charter of Cooperation have gathered for the event. The meeting is discussing the future prospects for cooperation in the energy sector against the backdrop of the evolving global energy landscape.
The election of the Chair of the Technical Committee is expected to take place within the framework of the meeting.
