A delegation led by Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova has departed for Qatar, the Press and Public Relations Department of the Milli Majlis told APA.
According to the information, Azerbaijani delegation traveled to Doha on July 14 to offer condolences on behalf of the Government of Azerbaijan to the Amir of the State of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, following the passing of the former Amir of the State of Qatar, Father Amir His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.
The delegation was welcomed at Doha International Airport by Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Qatar Adish Mammadov and other officials.

Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova is not attending today's final sitting held within the framework of the parliament's extraordinary session, APA reports.
First Deputy Speaker Ali Ahmadov said that Sahiba Gafarova is on a visit to Qatar to attend the funeral ceremony of the country's former Emir.
