Sinan Ogan: â€œâ€œYeni Åžafakâ€ publications against Azerbaijan are provocationâ€

Baku. Parvin Abbasov â€“ APA. â€œI strongly condemn the publications against the government of Azerbaijan in Turkish â€œYeni Åžafakâ€ newspaperâ€, member of the Turkish Parliament, Igdir MP, member of Turkey-Azerbaijan inter-parliamentary friendship group Sinan Ogan told APA.

Ogan said that the article published in the abovementioned newspaper is meant to create problem between the countries, but not the union: â€œI have also touched several issues in my statement to this newspaper. But the newspaper hasnâ€™t published all my words. After arriving in Turkey, we will meet the newspaperâ€™s employees again and speak about Azerbaijanâ€™s actions against the draft law in the French Parliament on criminalization of denial of made-up â€œArmenian genocideâ€.

Ogan said that though Turkish parliament hasnâ€™t a statement on the step of the French Parliament, the Azerbaijani Parliament adopted the appeal to French Senate on it: â€œIt is important for the press, especially â€œYeni Åžafakâ€ newspaper to know all itâ€.

Ogan underlined that he was satisfied with the visits of members of Turkey-Azerbaijan inter-parliamentary friendship group to Azerbaijan: â€œThere is no need to go into details. Anyway we havenâ€™t come to Azerbaijan with any expectation. Azerbaijan has done its best. We came here to express gratitude and did itâ€.
