Baku – APA. Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov received US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Eric Rubin, Foreign Ministry’s press service told APA.
Elmar Mammadyarov said the relations between Azerbaijan and US are developing, underlined the importance of enhancing cooperation in various spheres.
Eric Rubin highly appreciated Azerbaijan’s contribution to the international peace.
The sides exchanged views on energy cooperation, situation in the Middle East and South Caucasus, present state of the negotiations on the peaceful resolution of Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict over Nagorno Karabakh and a number of issues of mutual interest.
