APA reports quoting “Anadolu†agency that the draft law which was proposed by racist and extremely nationalist ATAKA Party was included in the agenda today at the parliament’s first meeting after the New Year holidays. 19 lawmakers voted for the draft law, 30 voted against it. 59 lawmakers abstained. The draft law was rejected.
MPs from the Rights and Freedoms Movement, majority of which is Turks, opposed the draft law. ATAKA’s representatives said that they would include once again this issue in the agenda in the near future. This party has included this topic in the parliament’s agenda for 4 times.
