"Azerbaijan successfully led the transformation process of CICA during its chairmanship and made significant contributions to the organization's sustainable development," Zhang Ling, Deputy Secretary-General of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA), said at the 4th Shusha Global Media Forum, APA's correspondent dispatched to Shusha reports.
Zhang Ling thanked Azerbaijan for its innovative approach aimed at strengthening the organization's role in the region.
"During its chairmanship of CICA, Azerbaijan successfully led the organization's transformation process and made significant contributions to its sustainable development. We are grateful to Azerbaijan for its innovative approach aimed at strengthening CICA's role in the region. The achievements made during Azerbaijan's chairmanship will be comprehensively assessed at the 7th CICA Summit to be held in Baku on October 15. We believe this summit will mark a new stage in the organization's development and further strengthen cooperation among member states," Zhang Ling stressed.
