Medvedev and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad had a telephone conversation. APA reports quoting the press service of Kremlin that Iran’s nuclear activity, as well as the legal status of the Caspian Sea were discussed in the conversation which took place on the Iran’s initiative.
The sides supported the idea of development of convention on the legal status of the Caspian Sea, settlements of the Caspian Sea’s problems, including the increase of efforts towards the settlement of ecological and fishing issues. They underlined the importance of implementation of agreements reached at the 3rd Caspian Summit in Baku.
