Meeting in NAP’s office with delegation of Romania’s ruling Democratic Liberal Party

Baku. Azer Mustafayev – APA. Today the delegation of Romania’s ruling Democratic Liberal Party, which is visiting Baku by invitation of YAP (New Azerbaijan Party), met at YAP’s office with deputy chairman of the party Ali Akhmedov, APA reports.
Ali Akhmedov said that the friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Romania have a long history, and the expansion of the relations between the ruling parties of both countries is essential.
Akhmedov told about the economic development of Azerbaijan, successfully implemented oil strategy, and the main problem hindering the overall development of the country - the Armenian-Azerbaijani, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. He thanked Romania for friendly support of fair position of Azerbaijan in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and support for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.
Head of delegation, the mayor of the second sector of Bucharest, the deputy chairman of the Association of Municipalities of Romania Neculai Ontsanu said that relations between our two countries have a long history. Romania - is the second country that recognized Azerbaijan’s independence.
It was followed by a broad exchange of views on the prospects of mutual relations, expanding and developing the existing ties between the ruling parties. At the end, the head of the Romanian delegation and Ali Akhmedov exchanged the gifts.
