Azerbaijan arrests equipments of â€œHalo Trustâ€ company engaged in mine clearance activity in occupied territories

According to Ismayilov, the equipments sent by the Azerbaijani customs officers to Afghanistan and used in mine clearance were detained recently. Azerbaijanâ€™s relevant structures intervened to this issue. The inference, given by ANAMA says that â€œHalo Trustâ€ organization was included in Bakuâ€™s â€œblack listâ€ because of illegal activity in Azerbaijanâ€™s occupied territories â€“ Nagorno Karabakh. After that the equipment belonging to this organization was arrested.

â€œThe opposite side attracted the UN to this issue. But we said that this organization must stop activity in the occupied territories and apologize to Baku. But they havenâ€™t done it. Those equipments were sent to Georgia after the negotiations via diplomatic channelsâ€, underlined the ANAMA director.

Azerbaijanâ€™s Deputy Prime Minster Abid Sharifov told journalists that he gave instructions to the relevant organizations to prohibit the conveying of equipments and cars of â€œHalo Trustâ€ through the country.
