Within the short-term visit to Armenia, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov handed over the letter of Russian President Dmitry Medvedev on Nagorno Karabakh conflict to Armenian president Serzh Sargsyan. APA reports quoting Russian ministry of Foreign Affairs that Armenian foreign minister Edward Nalbandian also attended the meeting. It was noted that Kazan meeting of the presidents made an opportunity for the sides to approach the agreement. It was also said that as the leaders of the co-chair countries, the Russian, US and French presidents support the early adoption of relevant decision by the sides.
Sargsyan said that he will answer Medvedev’s letter in the near future.
