Chairman of Iranian Parliament: â€œCaspian has a great potential and status issue for its usage must be solvedâ€

Our relations are long-term and have historical historical rootsâ€, said the chairman of Iran’s Parliament Ali Larijani at the press conference in Azerbaijan. He noted that, he had useful meetings with Azerbaijani President, Chairman of Milli Majlis, and PM: â€œWe also discussed the inter-parliamentary relations. We think the parliaments to hold experience exchanges, meetings of commissions. We can work together in the international organizationsâ€.

Chairman of Iranâ€™s Parliament noted that, they defended the Azerbaijanâ€™s parliamentary diplomacy in international organizations. He noted that, economic issues were also discussed in his meetings in Azerbaijan. According to Larijani, both sides expressed positive opinions to the development of these relations. Several economic projects were discussed.

Thereafter, he said that, the important accidents in the region require the Islamic countries to hold serious discussions: â€œInformation was spread that, Zionist regime destroys a part of Walls of Jerusalem. This is a serious issue and the Muslim countries must express opinions to thisâ€.

Speaking about trilateral meetings of chairmen of Iranian, Azerbaijan and Turkish Parliaments Larijani noted that, these meetings can support to solve the problems. He also noted that, he considered important to hold meetings among the chairmen of parliaments of Caspian Countries. He stressed that, Caspian Countries always have joint issues and this status issue must be solved for usage of it: â€œCaspian Sea has a great potential and status issue must be solved for its usage. Regional cooperation can support the solution of issuesâ€.
