UN GA approves the issues on Azerbaijan for next session

The issues under numbers 35 and 39 â€“ â€œProtracted conflicts in the GUAM area and their implications for international peace, security and developmentâ€ and â€œThe situation in the occupied territories of Azerbaijanâ€ proposed by the organization, as it wasnâ€™t voted on during the 65th session, the source reminded adding, â€œthere is a great chance that the 66th session will bring a significant progress in the issuesâ€.

The next UN GA session will also consider the financing of the UN Observer mission in Georgia.

Besides that, an Azerbaijani expert Mr. Azad Taghizadeh will be among other 14 experts in the Committee on the protection of the rights of all migrant workers and their family members to present a report about the migrant workers to the Human Rights Council.
