Palestinian President visits Heydar Aliyev Foundation

Baku â€“ APA. President of the State of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas, who is on official visit to Azerbaijan, visited the Heydar Aliyev Foundation on June 29. According to APA, he was welcomed by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva.

Mahmoud Abbas was informed about the purpose and activity of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, which learns and popularizes the rich heritage of nationwide leader Heydar Aliev, carries out various socio-economic and humanitarian projects to contribute to the progress of Azerbaijan, development of its culture and learning its history.

The Palestinian President was closely familiarized with the Foundation and wrote cordial words in the Memory Book.

President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva presented a souvenir and a book about the Foundationâ€™s activity to the Palestinian President.
