In her speech addressed to her supporters 55-year-old Bachmann said Americans must make a brave choice in order to ensure their safe and secure future. Bachmann, who was supported not only by the Tea party Movement, but by the Armenian Diaspora in the US, said she has experience in management, finance and international relations.

Bachmann criticized US President Barack Obama’s politics, saying the economy is not working the way it’s supposed to and the country is getting more and more debts. She also promised to change the health insurance policy.

The Armenian Diaspora, who is hopeful, that if Bachmann wins, she will promote the "Armenian genocide" issue, asks the Diaspora to support this candidate, but American Turks and Azeris are skeptical.

According to Azeri Diaspora members, Bachmann’s positions aren’t that strong and even in her own state she has quite a strong candidate in her own Republican Party - Mitt Romney, whose positions are much higher, according to public polls.

"Besides that, even if she wins, that doesn’t mean she will pursue the genocide idea. Overall, the US will not want to spoil its relations with Turkey and Azerbaijan, so they will never allow the recognition happen", Ali Sardarov, A Diaspora member, told APA.
