We intend to achieve constant progress in this sphere,†Assistant Secretary of State for Political-Military Affairs Andrew Shapiro told journalists in Baku.
Assessing the probability of Azerbaijan’s cooperation with the US in the security of energy infrastructure, Deputy Foreign Minister Araz Azimov said the notion of security is multiple-valued.
“The notion of security includes maintenance of security of infrastructure, measures to prevent illegal shipment, energy security. Azerbaijan can cooperate with the US in all these spheres. The US is also ready to help us in all these issues,†he said.
Araz Azimov said the two countries realized a number of joint programs in the abovementioned spheres.
