Araz Azimov: â€œUS-Azerbaijan joint military exercises were postponed because of technical problemsâ€ - <font color=red>UPDATED</font>

Baku. Viktoria Dementyeva â€“ APA.Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Araz Azimov told journalists about that, APA reports. He also made comments on the future of these exercises: â€œThe exercises are expected to be conducted in the near future. As a sign of the development of cooperation between the two countries, a series of large-scale exercises will be conducted in the near future and the US and Azerbaijani servicemen will attend these exercises. One of these exercises will be held in Azerbaijan and others in a foreign countryâ€.

This year the US-Azerbaijan joint military exercises were postponed once more. The US-Azerbaijan joint military exercises Regional Response 2011 were scheduled to be held on May 15-25.
