APA reports that the issue was considered at the plenary meeting of the Duma. Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin made a report during the discussions. Chairman of Russia’s State Duma Committee on CIS Affairs and Relations with Compatriots Alexei Ostrovsky also participated in the discussions.
The agreement was signed in Baku on September 3, 2010. The land frontier coordinated between the two countries corresponds to the former administrative borders between Dagestan Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic and Azerbaijan SSR. The land frontier between Russia and Azerbaijan is 284km.
