Opposition representatives meet with US Deputy Secretary of State

Baku-APA. US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor Thomas Melia who is on an official visit to Azerbaijan, met with co-chairman of the Republicanist Alternative Movement (RAM) Ilgar Mammadov, APFP chairman Ali Karimli, Musavat chairman Isa Gambar and ADP chairman Sardar Jalaloglu. RAM told APA that the meeting participants exchanged view on America-Azerbaijan relations, democratization process, strengthening of democratic institutions, as well as freedom of media and protection of human rights. US ambassador to Azerbaijan Matthew Bryza, the officials of US Department of State participated in the meeting.
