Baku. Ramil Mammadli – APA. “The time has come for reaching serious progress in the settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict”, head of the public policy department of the Presidential Administration Ali Hasanov told journalists, APA reports.

He reminded about the recent statement by the presidents of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chair countries, which engage in the settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict. “There is a will to solve the conflict soon. Much is expected from the Kazan meeting between the Azerbaijani, Russian and Armenian presidents. In their statement, the presidents of the co-chair countries call to intensify and accelerate the negotiations over the conflict settlement. In this regard, there is an opportunity for reaching some progress in the Kazan meeting”.

Hasanov emphasized that solution of the conflict depends not only on Azerbaijan, but on Armenia, which displays non-constructive position in the negotiation process for years. He said the hopeful issues have been broken by Armenia and the negotiation process has been delayed many times.
