Azerbaijani President congratulates Erdogan on AKPâ€™s victory in parliamentary elections

Baku â€“ APA. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev phoned to Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan in the evening on June 12 and congratulated him on the decisive victory of Justice and Development Party (AKP) in the parliamentary elections, press service of the President told APA. Head of State noted that under Erdoganâ€™s leadership Turkey gained great achievements and this victory was an expression of the confidence by the Turkish people.

Turkish Prime Minister thanked President Aliyev for the congratulation.

Azerbaijani President and Turkish Prime Minister expressed confidence in further successful development of friendly relations between the two countries in all spheres.

President Aliyev invited Erdogan to visit Azerbaijan and Turkish Prime Minister accepted this invitation.
