Zhirinovsky protests Russian ambassadorâ€™s statement

Zhirinovsky noted that he doesnâ€™t aim to derogate rights of Azerbaijan, but the Russian foreign ministry has to take more active position on this issue. â€œThe independent country has the right to decide whom it allows or doesnâ€™t allow entering the country. But the Russian ambassador should defend the rights of his compatriots. We are concerned about the position of the official of the Russian foreign ministry. We consider that the Russian ambassadors in foreign countries have to defend the rights of their compatriots, but not to violateâ€.

For visiting the occupied territories of Azerbaijan, Buntman was declared a persona non grata by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan and suspended to enter to the Azerbaijani territories. Commenting on this issue, Russian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Vladimir Dorokhin said inclusion of Buntman in the â€œblack listâ€ is the sovereign right of Azerbaijan. â€œFreedom is the freedom, but it is also the responsibility and respect of the rights of others. I can not forbid Benediktov to make such statements. But I would like to say that he should understand what results any action can bring. He should clearly imagine the results of this actionâ€.
