President Ilham Aliyev meets with delegation led by head of UK all-party parliamentary group on Azerbaijan

According to APA, Field said one of the basic directions of his group is to deliver information about Azerbaijan to the British parliamentarians.

Field said that Azerbaijan had great potential in not only oil and gas sector, but non-oil sector as well. He said he was hopeful that the countries will exchange experiences in the fields of agriculture, tourism, sports, culture and other spheres. Mentioning the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno Karabakh conflict, the British guest said the government and people of Azerbaijan demonstrated great endurance in this conflict in the past 20 years and they understand the Azerbaijanâ€™s concerns over this issue. He said they would deeply learn the problem during the visit.

The head of state highly appreciated the role of the all-party parliamentary group on Azerbaijan in informing the United Kingdom about the achievements and commitments of Azerbaijan. President emphasized the successful development of bilateral relations and said these relations covered many spheres. He said energy cooperation between the countries had long history. Underlining the importance of investments in tourism, culture and non-oil sector, the head of state noted the necessity of researching opportunities for further development of useful cooperation between the countries.
