Azerbaijanâ€™s President sends letter of congratulation to Georgian President

Baku â€“ APA. Azerbaijanâ€™s President Ilham Aliyev sent a letter of congratulation to President Mikheil Saakashvili on the occasion of the Day of Restoration of Georgiaâ€™s Independence, Presidentâ€™s press service told APA. The letter says:

â€œHonorable Mr. President, my dear friend, on my behalf and on behalf of the Azerbaijani people I congratulate You and all Your people on the national holiday of your country â€“ the day of restoration of the state independence. Azerbaijan and Georgia are united by strong friendly neighborhood traditions having deep historical roots. These traditions have become richer and reflect the will of our nations. I am sure that we will continue joint efforts towards improvement of the bilateral cooperation between our friendly countries and effective cooperation within the framework of the regional organizations and projects. I wish You good health, happiness, success in your activities, and peace and prosperity to the people of Georgia.â€
