Lawyer Asabali Mustafayev told APA that the court ensured the prosecutor’s office’s petition and passed a decision on prolongation of pretrial detention period of these persons to 2 months.
The Public Chamber attempted to hold unauthorized rally in the center of Baku on April 2. Criminal case has been launched in connection with April 2 actions under the articles #233 (Organization of actions promoting infringement of a social order or active participation in such actions) and #315 (Resistance or application of violence concerning the representative of authority) of the Criminal Code. Sabail District Court passed a judgment on two-month pretrial detention of Arif Hajili, Abbasli and Majidli.
