Azerbaijani President receives Iranian deputy foreign minister

According to APA, Sheybani said President of Iran Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and other high-ranking officials of his country hold President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev in high esteem and wish sustainable development to the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijani people.

In his turn, the head of state pointed out that relations between the two countries are rapidly developing and the relations are in high level now. President emphasized that Azerbaijan and Iran have strong political relations, and new initiatives are put forward in the economic sphere, he also noted the importance of the bilateral documents signed between the countries and said all coordinated issues were implemented.

Reminding about his regular meetings with Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Azerbaijani leader Ilham Aliyev emphasized the friendly relations between him and the Iranian president and said these relations have positive impact on the friendly relations between the two countries and peoples.
