First deputy editor-in-chief of â€œEkho Moskvyâ€ radio declared â€œpersona non grataâ€ in Azerbaijan

Baku-APA. First deputy editor-in-chief of â€œEkho Moskvyâ€ radio Sergey Buntman entered into the list of persona non grata in Azerbaijan, spokesman for Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs Elkhan Polukhov told Vesti.az.

â€œExo Moskviâ€ radio station sent first deputy editor-in-chief of Sergey Buntmann to the business mission to Nagorno Karabakh. Despite official Bakuâ€™s negative reaction to Buntmannâ€™s illegal visit to Azerbaijanâ€™s occupied territories, the radio station didnâ€™t give up its adventurous idea. Buntmann not only visited the territories which are under occupation, he also interviewed with leader of separatists Bako Saakyan, so-called â€œMayor of Stepanakertâ€ Vazgen Mikaelyan and audio version of these interviews is still on the â€œEkho Moskvyâ€ website.

Polukhov told Vesti.az that Azerbaijani embassy in Russia was instructed to convey Azerbaijanâ€™s protest and the country leadershipâ€™s position on Buntmannâ€™s illegal visit to Azerbaijanâ€™s occupied territories to the management of â€œEkho Moskvyâ€.

This issue raised by Vesti.az caused a serious interest in Russian and Armenian press and the various reports were placed on the websites on the recorded fact.
