President Ilham Aliyev confirms Azerbaijani membership of Azerbaijan-Iraq intergovernmental Commission

Baku â€“ APA. President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree on the membership of Azerbaijani side in the joint intergovernmental commission on trade, economic, scientific, technical and cultural co-operation between the Governments of Azerbaijan Republic and the Republic of Iraq, APA reports. The Minister of Communications and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan Ali Abbasov has been appointed the Azerbaijani co-chair of the Commission.

Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov, Deputy Minister of Economic Development, Niyazi Safarov, Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism Sevda Mammadaliyeva, Deputy of Education Minister Elmar Gasimov, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Ismail Ismailov, Deputy Chairman of State Customs Committee Safar Mehdiyev, the Vice-Chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan Republic Vadim Khubanov, the vice-president of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences Akif Alizadeh and Azerbaijani Ambassador to Iraq Elman Arasli are included in the Commission.
