Czech President Vaclav Klaus: We are interested in the enhancement of cooperation with Azerbaijan in all spheres

This is the aim of my three-day visit,â€ Czech President Vaclav Klaus, who is visiting Azerbaijan, said in the press statement, APA reports quoting AzerTAC.

noting that they are aware of the recent achievements of Azerbaijan, Czech President said they are pleased to see the development in Baku and the regions. Vaclav Klaus also spoke about a number of issues on the further development of Azerbaijan-Czech Republic relations.
â€œWe are aware of the painful conflict with Armenia and we would like to make contribution, even little, to the solution of the conflict. We attach special importance to the Eastern Partnership program of the European Union. Czech Republic was one of the initiators of this idea. A meeting concerning the Eastern Partnership was held in Prague two years ago, we met there at that time,â€ he said.

Vaclav Klaus said Czech Republic attaches special importance to the relations with Azerbaijan.
â€œI assure you that we are interested in the relations between our countries, including the relations between Europe and Azerbaijan,â€ he said.
