APA reports that President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev welcomed Vaclav Klaus and his spouse Livia Klausova.
Azerbaijani state and government representatives were introduced to Vaclav Klaus and members of the Czech delegation were introduced to Ilham Aliyev.
Following the official welcome ceremony, presidents of Azerbaijan and Czech Republic held one-on-one meeting. The sides underlined that bilateral relations are developing successfully in various spheres, including political, economic, energy and other spheres. The presidents said there is a good potential to enhance the bilateral relations, noted the significance of the relations between Azerbaijan and Czech Republic in terms of the cooperation within the framework of the European Union.
The sides exchanged views on bilateral, regional and international issues.
