Baku. Victoria Dementieva – APA. An event dedicated to the 63rd anniversary of Israeli independence has been held in Baku, APA reports. The event was opened by the Israeli ambassador to Azerbaijan, who talked about the history of the state, country’s development, touched upon the bilateral relations between Israel and Azerbaijan, noting that in the political, economic and cultural spheres these relations are at high level, he also expressed his hope for further development. On behalf of Azerbaijan, the Minister of Labor and Social Protection Fizuli Alakbarov congratulated Israel’s Independence Day.
The officials of the Azerbaijani government, heads and employees of accredited in Baku diplomatic corps, Azerbaijan’s Jewish community, as well as Deputy Minister of Communications of Israel Eden Bar Tal, who is on the visit in Baku, attended the reception.
