Ramil Hasanov: It is planned to establish four standing commissions at the session of TurkPA in Astana

The second plenary session of Turkic-Speaking Countries Parliamentary Assembly (TurkPA) will be held in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan on April 27-29, Secretary General of TurkPA told YAP’s website, APA reports. Ramil Hasanov said the preparations for the session are about to end. According to him, the representatives of TurkPA secretariat will leave for Astana on April 24.

Secretary General said the draft agenda of the session is ready. Hasanov said Astana meeting is devoted to the 20th anniversary of independence of the Turkic-speaking states that were members of the former Soviet Union.
“It is planned to establish four standing commissions of TurkPA. They are commissions on social, cultural and humanitarian issues, economy, trade and finance, law and international affairs,” he said.

Ramil Hasanov said it is also planned to adopt the action plan of TurkPA for 2011-2012. Secretary General underlined that officials of OIC PA, TURKSOY, Council for Security and Cooperation in Asia and representatives of other organizations will attend the session.
