According to APA, focusing attention on the meeting of the Turkish, Azerbaijani and Iranian foreign ministers in Urmia, Iran, Bahrami said these three countries are partners and have good relations. “The unity of these countries could be important for the region and the world. The declaration adopted at this meeting has a political significance and impact on the development of the countries. The meeting showed that these counties could solve the regional problems by its own efforts”.

Touching upon the bilateral meetings, the diplomat said Azerbaijani and Iranian foreign ministers had very useful meeting. “The ambassadors received tasks concerning the opening of joint customs points in the frontier check-points. Iran and Turkey already had such experience. Iran unilaterally abolished the visa regime with Azerbaijan. It increased the mutual travels between Iran and Azerbaijan. The number of Azerbaijani travelers to Iran quadrupled after that. If Baku takes same step, it will equal the number of travelers from Iran and Azerbaijan. Therefore we consider that it will be better to establish 24-hour frontier check-points”.

Bahrami added that the experts of the Caspian littoral states will meet in Baku next week.
