Speaker: â€œAzerbaijan has successfully fulfilled commitments taken to the Council of Europeâ€

Baku. Elbrus Seyfullayev â€“ APA. On November 25, Chairman of Milli Majlis (Azerbaijani Parliament) Ogtay Asadov received the delegation led by Head of Ago Monitoring Group of the Council of Europe Committee of Ministers, Permanent Representative of Romania to the Council of Europe (CE) Stelian Stojan, Press service of the parliament told APA. Asadov noted that Azerbaijan attached particular importance to the cooperation with the Council of Europe and expressed hope for further development of Azerbaijan-CE cooperation in the future.

The speaker underlined that Azerbaijan had successfully fulfilled commitments taken to the Council of Europe and added that other issues would also be implemented in the near future.

Head of Ago Monitoring Group of the Council of Europe Committee of Ministers Stelian Stojan in return expressed satisfaction with the Azerbaijan-CE cooperation and confirmed that Azerbaijan had successfully fulfilled commitments taken to the organization.

Cooperation perspectives between Azerbaijan and CE, and other issues of mutual concern were also discussed at the meeting.
