Explosions have been heard in two cities in Iran, according to official and semi-official Iranian media, APA reports.
Three explosions were heard in the city of Konarak on Thursday evening local time, according to the semi-official Mehr News Agency, and further blasts heard in the city of Bushehr, according to state-run IRNA.
Ehsan Jahanian, the political and security deputy governor of Bushehr province, told IRNA a military facility outside the city had been hit by what he described as “US-Israeli enemy projectiles,” and that Iran’s air defense then responded.
He did not provide further details on the extent of the damage or any casualties.
