Azerbaijani delegation attends BSEC PA plenary meeting

Baku. Elnur Mammadli â€“ APA. Azerbaijani delegation headed by the speaker of the parliament Ogtay Asadov will attend 34th plenary meeting of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) Parliamentary Assembly in Russia on November 22-24, APA reports. Members of the parliament Asaf Hajiyev, Mubariz Gurbanli, Musa Guliyev, Jale Aliyeva, Imamverdi Ismayilov and chief of the parliament administration Safa Mirzayev and other officials are in the delegation, press secretary of the parliament Akif Tavakkuloglu told journalists.

BSEC PA will focus on water resources of the Black Sea, useful use of natural resources of the region, improving of legislation in this field, formation of environmental thinking in the member countries, as well as organizational and other issues. Tavakkuloglu said Ogtay Asadov would address the meeting. â€œOne of the issues concerned Azerbaijan - environmental damage carried by Armenians on Karabakh region of Azerbaijan- will be raised at the meeting. The participants will be informed that it is threatening not only Azerbaijan, but whole region and world as wellâ€.
