The vice speaker said leading political forces of the world pursued double standards in Karabakh issue. He noted that NATO quickly solved the problems in Balkans, but Nagorno karabakh conflict was entrusted to the OSCE Minsk Group. “Minsk Group couldn’t do anything in the past 18 years. There is a people and army of Azerbaijan, who can solve this problemâ€.
Asgarov said the international forces invited Azerbaijan to the peaceful solution of the problem and added: “NATO Parliamentary Assembly official told me that nobody wants to set aside Christian Armenia and to help Muslim Azerbaijanâ€.
Asgarov addressed the international experts participating at the conference and said if the principles of international law were not fulfilled let them to declare it and let Azerbaijan to know what it must do.
