Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum to hold first meeting in Brussels next week

Baku. Viktoria Dementieva – APA. Eastern Partnership (EaP) Civil Society Forum will hold its first meeting in Brussels on November 16-17. APA reports that director of Caucasus Regional Economic Center Melek Shukurova will outline the proposals and priorities of Azerbaijan within the framework of this initiative.

Local NGOs have today held an event in Orkhus center under Azerbaijani Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry on formation of the proposals to be made in Brussels. Establishment of the working group on climate changes and energy security was discussed at the meeting.

Representatives of over 220 public organizations from six EaP countries will attend the Civil Society Forum. Public organizations, trade union organizations, working groups, analytical centers and noncommercial funds will represent the countries in the forum.
