Azerbaijani and Slovenian presidents hold tete-a-tete meeting

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva warmly welcomed Slovenian President Turk and his spouse Barbara Miklic Turk on November 9, APA reports.

Then Azerbaijani government officials were introduced to President Turk and the Slovenian officials were introduced to President Aliyev.

Following the official welcoming ceremony, Azerbaijani president and his spouse met with the Slovenian president and his spouse. Then the presidents held tete-a-tete meeting.

The sides expressed satisfaction with the successful development of bilateral relations in the different spheres and emphasized that there are good potential opportunities for extension of economic cooperation between the countries.

The importance of mutual high-level visits was pointed out at the meeting and was emphasized that the official visit of Slovenian president to Azerbaijan will contribute to the development of relations.

The bilateral, regional and international issued were discussed at the meeting.
