Baku to host international scientific conference â€œCross-Civilizations Dialogue: View from Azerbaijanâ€

Baku â€“ APA. Diplomatic Academy of Azerbaijan Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Secretariat General of the Organization of the Islamic Conference will organize international scientific conference â€œCross-Civilizations Dialogue: View from Azerbaijanâ€ on the occasion of OIC 40 years anniversary. The conference will take place in Baku on November 11-12, press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs told APA. OIC Secretary General Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, local and foreign scientists from 41 countries and three international organizations, as well as representatives of the diplomatic missions accredited in Azerbaijan and top officials of some countries will attend the conference.

Religious and cultural diversity, Azerbaijanâ€™s experience in this field, problems the inter-religious dialogue faces and Islamic geopolitics will be discussed at the conference.
