The visit has been postponed, because Radosław Sikorki will accompany Poland’s President, or Prime Minister in the extraordinary summit of the European Union in Brussels. The extraordinary summit is connected with the Lisbon treaty ratified by Polish President Lech Kaczyński last week.
Poland was the last of the EU member states to sign this document. Lisbon treaty envisages fundamental reforms to strengthen the position of the European Union and increase its role. Actually, this treaty is a document replacing the Constitution of the European Union.
According to the embassy said Radosław Sikorki’s visit has not been cancelled, but postponed. The new date of the visit will be determined through diplomatic channels.
