President of Azerbaijan Gurbangulu Berdimuhammedov addressed the participants of Azerbaijani Culture Days in Turkmenistan and congratulated them on the opening of the Days, APA reports. â€œAzerbaijani and Turkmen people have linked with friendly and fraternal relations since the ancient times and have joint history and culture, similar traditions. Our historic relations were tested by the time and entered new development period. Azerbaijani Culture Days in Turkmenistan prove that. This event will contribute to the prosperity of culture of the two peoples in the period of great renascence. This event shows that multilateral cooperation and cultural relations between our countries have great future. Good neighborhood relations between the two friendly countries have new essence todayâ€. The president emphasized the bilateral documents signed in recent years as an example of multilateral cooperation between Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan. â€œI am sure that friendly and fraternal relations between Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan will be extended and strengthened furtherâ€.
