Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev meets with President of Swiss Council of States Alain Berset

Baku â€“ APA. Azerbaijanâ€™s President Ilham Aliyev, who is paying an official visit to Switzerland, met with President of the Swiss Council of States Alain Berset, Presidentâ€™s press service told APA. Touching on the importance of the relations with Azerbaijan Alain Berset said there is an interparliamentary friendship group on Azerbaijan in the Swiss parliament.
Alain Berset said the interparliamentary relations are perfect and the intergovernmental and interstate relations are developing. Touching on the importance of the Days of Azerbaijan held in Switzerland President of the Swiss Council of States said such events extend our information about each other.

President Ilham Aliyev said the relations are developing in various spheres.
â€œAzerbaijani parliament also has friendship group on Switzerland and our country attaches great importance to the interparliamentary relations. The intergovernmental relations are perfect. The visit of President of Switzerland to Azerbaijan last year and my visit to Switzerland strengthen our relations. There is a dynamics in the development of our relations, it meets the interests of both sides,â€ he said.
Azerbaijani President said economic relations are developing, new projects are being implemented in this field and appreciated the bilateral relations.
Ilham Aliyev noted the importance of the Days of Azerbaijan in Switzerland and said our countries should have more information about each other.
