Azerbaijani President receives First Vice President of Iran

Baku â€“ APA. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received the delegation led by First Vice President of Iran Isfandiyar Rahim Mashaie, the Presidentâ€™s press service told APA. The head of state stressed the importance of First Vice President of Iran Isfandiyar Rahim Mashaieâ€™s visit to Azerbaijan in terms of exchanging views on current state and perspectives of relations between the two countries. President Aliyev noted that Mashaieâ€™s visit and his meetings in Baku would contribute to further enhancement of bilateral ties. First Vice President of Iran Isfandiyar Rahim Mashaie conveyed Iranian President Mahmud Ahmedinejatâ€™s best regards to President Ilham Aliyev and Azerbaijani People and handed over the Iranian presidentâ€™s letter to Ilham Aliyev. The sides underlined the importance of further expansion of the relations and expressed their confidence that the bilateral ties between Azerbaijan and Iran would further improve.
