Head of OSCE Office in Baku hold meetings in Mingachevir and Ganja

Mingachevir â€“ Ganja. Shahnazar Bashirov, Jamsheed Bakhtiyar â€“ APA. Head of the OSCE Office in Baku Ali Bilge Cankorel visited Mingachevir city of Azerbaijan to see the implementation of the OSCE police-public partnership project, APA local bureau reports. Mingachevir Police Chief Alasgar Badalov informed the guest that as a successful result of the project, trustful relations and close cooperation were established between police and society in the field of public security. â€œThe number of crimes and violations of law was reduced in the city. Grave crimes such as kidnapping, robbery, carjacking, deliberate murder, hostage taking were not registered in Mingachevir over the last two yearsâ€.
The head of OSCE Office in Baku Cankorel highly appreciated the work done in Mingachevir within the police-public partnership project.
Then Cankorel visited Ganja City. He told APA western bureau that he targeted several goals in his visit to the region. â€œToday Law Resource Center is opened in Ganja. I will participate at the opening ceremony. Tomorrow I will meet with the representatives of political parties on the eve of municipal electionsâ€.
Cankorel said the OSCE would organize police-public partnership trainings in Ganja.
